    Saraswati Puja

    Prabasi warmly welcomes you to attend Saraswati Puja to be held on Feb 8th, 2014 at Centerville Middle School, Fremont. Saraswati Puja is traditionally our occasion to see our children perform. We have numerous activities and talent shows planned for children this year.

    12:00 PM-12:20 PM Children performing a short puja *
    12.30 -1:00 PM Pushpanjali
    1:00 -1:30 PM Hathe-Khori

    Prasad/Lunch (Patrons and Members do not need to pay for lunch. Non-members can buy a lunch plate for $10 per plate at the site)
    2:15PM onwards
    		 Children's Talent Show.

    We will host a number of events catering to all age groups! Preparation has been going in full swing and we are all ready.

    Participants are requested to report half and hour before the show.

    We are singing various contemporary Bangla songs like:
    Ojana kono golpo boley (Iti Mrinalini), Prithibi ta na ki (Mohin er Ghora guli), Cholo Jai (ranjana ami ar asbo na), Majhi re (bong connection), Classroom (Cholo Paltai), Juju , Gaan Bhalobesey gaan (Chandrobindoo), and Bulbul pakhi (Antara Choudhuri).
    *We ask children of all ages to participate in a 10-mantra puja after the primary one. Prabasi provides all materials for that purpose to each kid. We have been doing this for the past 4 years.
