Editorial

This is the first appearance of Shankha International magazine on the Internet on behalf of the San Francisco Bay Area cultural organization "Prabasi". The cultivation of Bengalee and Indian culture and literature is a principal objective. Presentation of current social issues is also a major objective. To meet these two objectives, Shankha International is bilingual.
