Dear Member,

Bay Area Prabasi Inc. would like to support Mission Chamber
Orchestra (MCO)( whose mission as a nonprofit
orchestra is to bring together diverse cultures in the San Jose area
through music.

Mission Chamber Orchestra (MCO) will be hosting a concert in San
Jose on Saturday, February 2, featuring a famous saxophone soloist
of Indian descent by the name of Ashu ( We
believe that this concert would be very interesting to our members.

Ashu grew up in Walnut Creek, California and moved to The Woodlands,
Texas with his family at age 12. He attended Northwestern University
in Evanston, Illinois and currently resides in Chicago.

At age 26, Ashu has established an extraordinary ability to
communicate with audiences through his charismatic and moving
performance style. He has repeatedly defied conventions by winning
major competitions traditionally won by pianists and violinists.

With the unique ability to captivate general as well as classical
audiences, Ashu has shown that the concert saxophone can reach
beyond stylistic categorization and to a large diversity of people.
He has also shown it can attract younger and new listeners into the
concert hall being a relatively fresh instrument to classical
