Dear Member,

As you may remember, we had earlier announced that we will be
celebrating Poila Boishakh this year as part of our Annual Day
celebrations on the 14th of April at Foothill College Auditorium with
a classical music program featuring world renowned Sarode maestro,
Pandit Tejendra Narayan Majumdar from Kolkata and tabla guru, Pandit
Swapan Chowdhury. Here are the details:

The intent this year is to celebrate 'Poila Baisakh' along with our
annual day event.

Pandit Tejendra Narayan Majumdar is a disciple of Late Ustad Bahadur
Khan and now of Ustad Ali Akbar Khan Saheb. He is undisputedly the
greatest new generation sarod player.

Pandit Swapan Choudhury, one of the greatest tabla masters of the last
two decades, needs no introduction. Swapanji was the recepient of the
Sangeet Natak Academy Award in 1998.

We bring you an unforgettable evening of Indian classical music with
Pandit Tejendra Narayan Majumdar (Sarod) and Pandit Swapan Chowdhury.

This program is free for Prabasi Annual members and Donors.
Rates for non-members are: $20.00 for General audience
