Subject: Saraswati Puja Schedule
Dated: Feb 09, 2000
Dear Member,

This is just a reminder that we are going to have Saraswati Puja
coming Saturday February 12,2000 at Sunnyvale Hindu Temple from
11:00 am.

The schedule of events, address and directions, appears at the
bottom of this mail.

Saraswati Puja will have a Children's Talent Show and Fancy Dress.
We want the show to be a big event and highly encourage you to enroll
your child for participation. We have this show every year and it
turns out to be a big morale booster for our children. In the Fancy
Dress show, children may dress up as you wish and walk on the stage.
In the Talent Performance, children express their talent on the
stage through Music, Dance, Recitation, playing Instrumental organs,
Acting or Speech.

Please contact Susmita Bhatacharya at (408-578-9328 (H) or
650-786-8694(W)) to enroll your child for these shows.

Election for eight Board of Directors of Prabasi will be held
during Saraswati Puja. Election forms may be downloaded from
the web at: You may contact Jyotirmoy Ganguly at (408)246-0285 for details.

IMPORTANT: The deadline for submitting the filled-in form is
           TOMORROW February 10, 2000.

The response to the volunteer signup has been very encouraging. We're
looking for someone with an artistic talent who can draw art pictures
(line art) both for the Shankha cover page as well as for inside
features. Also we are short of Festival Managers, and it would be
very helpful to have you help us in this matter too.

Please sign up as a Prabasi volunteer at: You may check out the volunteer incentives at:
