Children's Talent Show on Feb 5th from 3:30 -
Calling on all children of Prabasi (no age
limit). Do you have a talent that you wish to share with others? You can
sing, dance, play an instrument, recite or do a monologue (preference will
be given to Bengali language first).
To participate please apply through the web application form. If you have any questions

call 408-268-7110 and leave a message. We need your name(s) and category of
talent. Performance slots will be decided on first-come-first-served basis.
We will accept names until Feb 1st, which is a Tuesday.
Here are the categories:
Song - 3 minutes
Group Song - 7 minutes
Solo Dance - 5 minutes
Group dance - 10 minutes
Monologues - 2 minutes
Recitation - 2 minutes
Musical instrument - 5 minutes
(violin, flute, guitar, trumpet, keyboard etc)
All participants must report at the Sunnyvale Temple registration desk by
3:00 pm. If CDs or Cassettes need to be played, please bring them with your
name and the performance item written on it.
This year we will also have a display of artistic/literary talent. Your
theme is "Education", of course.
Literary work: You may write a poem or a story or an essay (please limit
your masterpieces to 1 page only).
Art work: You may also submit artwork. Remember, creativity and originality
is a must.
Please bring your literary or art work on Feb 5th to the Sunnyvale Temple
and submit it at the registration desk. Don't forget to put your name, age
and grade on the submission.
Remember! This is not a competition
