Bay Area Prabasi welcomes you to join us for Kali Puja at "Livermore Temple" on November 13 from 6:30 pm onwards. Kali Puja and its associated cultural program is free for Prabasi annual members. In case you wish to attend Kali Puja on a per-event basis, you may do so too. The rates are $10.00 for each individual, and $5.00 for students. Dependents of Prabasi members can attend for an extra charge of $5.00.

6.30PM to 8PM.: Food will be served. Each food plate will have 6 luchis, chholaar daal, begun bhaja, aaloor dum and chaatni. Price per plate will be $4.00. Food will be available to the first 500 people who attend 8PM-10PM : Song by Sumitra Guha. She is a renowned singer from New Delhi who has performed all over the world including the World Music Festival held at Istanbul in 1997. She is a regular performer on Doordarshan of Delhi. She has received numerous awards, most recently the title of "Sangeet Kala Ratna" at the Vishnu Digambar Samaroh by Sangeet Kala Kendra. She is here in US at the invitation of Saraswati Mandiram in Massachusetts, a religious organization established in the US, as their guest artist. She will sing songs by Lata Mangeshkar. 10.30PM onwards: Kalipuja.
